I thought I would show my film at XOXO, but turns out I had been invited to be a speaker instead. XOXO is a conference that celebrates passionate making in media and the internet. I was honored to have the chance to look back at internet sharing, themes I was marinating in deeply due to this documentary video. So I fashioned animated gifs from documentary scenes to make an elaborate slide show with few words, and in September 2014 presented a draft of material that I would spend many more months evolving.
